People’s Deputy Yaroslav Zhelezniak announced potential new resignations, changes in the leadership of the SBI, a candidate for the head of the SBU, and shifts in the government’s composition.

New personnel reshuffles may occur in Ukraine in the near future.
This was reported by Member of Parliament Yaroslav Zhelezniak.
According to Zhelezniak, his sources indicate the likelihood of a new wave of dismissals following the recent government personnel changes.
Specifically, the deputy noted that there are currently circulating rumors about the possible nomination of a new head for the Security Service of Ukraine, as well as preparations for replacing the director of the State Bureau of Investigation.
At the same time, Zhelezniak emphasized that he does not have confirmation of this information at the moment, urging it to be treated solely as unconfirmed reports.
He also separately commented on potential changes in the Cabinet of Ministers. According to the deputy, the candidate for the new prime minister must be determined first. He suggested that the general director of NJSC “Naftogaz of Ukraine,” Oleksiy Koretskyi, could be that candidate. Following this, the future composition of the government will become clear.
“Let’s put it this way, if an hour ago I gave Koretskyi a 95% chance for the prime minister position, now it’s 99%,” the MP commented.
Furthermore, Zhelezniak stated that certain personnel decisions by the president might affect the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defense. He also expressed his opinion that the appointment of a new head of the Ministry of Defense could be accompanied by a challenging vote in the Verkhovna Rada. In particular, the deputy suggested that if Mykhailo Fedorov were proposed for this position, such a decision “would be a very difficult vote for him.”

Recall that on July 12, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced government personnel changes and proposed that Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko move to another position.
People’s Deputy Yaroslav Zhelezniak revealed who might lead the new government instead of Svyrydenko.
MP Vasylevska-Smagliuk confirmed that a meeting of the “Servant of the People” faction, where personnel issues will be discussed, will take place on Tuesday.
It is worth noting that the Verkhovna Rada approved the appointment of Yulia Svyrydenko as prime minister in July 2025. Prior to that, she headed the Ministry of Economy. As a result of a “carousel” at that time, then-Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal became the Minister of Defense and later the Minister of Energy.
