The destructions compelled the occupiers to alter train routes and disrupted infrastructure restoration.

The Ukrainian defense forces launched a series of successful strikes on the transport infrastructure in the temporarily occupied Crimea. As a result of the attacks, the road and railway bridges near the village of Rozdolne were destroyed, leading to a complete halt of the key railway line used by Russia to supply its troops on the peninsula.
This was reported by the Telegram channel “Crimean Wind.”
The road bridge near Rozdolne was struck on the night of June 18. The impact caused a span of the bridge to collapse directly onto the railway tracks.
Simultaneously, Ukrainian forces also attacked the railway bridge over the North Crimean Canal, marking the beginning of a large-scale assault on the occupiers’ vital transport infrastructure.

On June 22, drones of the Special Operations Forces launched new attacks on the railway bridge structure. This caused critical damage and completely stopped train traffic on this section.
After the Ukrainian resistance movement recorded the arrival of special repair equipment, drones attacked the facility again on the night of June 23.
The drones struck both the occupiers’ repair equipment and hit the remnants of the destroyed bridge once more.
As a result, the Russian forces lost the ability to quickly restore the important transport artery.

Due to the destruction of the road bridge and damage to the railway crossing, the only railway line connecting the Krasnodar Krai with the central and western regions of occupied Crimea, including Simferopol and Sevastopol, ceased to function.
This particular section held strategic importance for the military logistics of the Russian group on the peninsula.
Furthermore, the railway connection with the occupied districts of Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions was severed. Now, Russian troops can only deliver cargo by rail through the Rostov region and Volnovakha.
Following the loss of the strategic section, the Russian occupation administration announced a temporary change in railway transport routes.
“Temporarily, all trains arriving in and departing from Crimea will terminate their routes at Kerch-Sudzhenna station – Novy Park,” stated representatives of the occupation administration.

It is worth noting that the strikes by the Ukrainian defense forces on occupied Crimea and the crossing of the Kerch Strait have significantly exacerbated supply problems on the peninsula. According to British intelligence, on the night of June 20, Ukrainian forces hit air defense systems, fuel depots, and three car ferries. This led to a fuel shortage and delays at the crossings. The British Ministry of Defense does not rule out that the Crimean Bridge could be the next target.
Additionally, Ukrainian troops destroyed the bridge in Henichesk on the left bank of the Kherson region, which Russian occupiers actively used for military logistics. As a result of systematic strikes, several spans of the bridge collapsed, and road traffic was completely halted. The bridge was critically important for the transfer of troops and equipment from Crimea.
