This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in his video address on May 30.
The head of state urged Ukrainians to remain vigilant to air raid alerts this night as well, as intelligence reports about the possibility of a massive strike remain current.
“We know that partners have spoken with the Russians about this. There is no faith that someone in Moscow will come to their senses. Absolutely protect your lives – react to dangers,” Zelenskyy stated.
He assured that the Ukrainian air defense, all mobile fire groups, and combat aviation are fully prepared, “as much as possible, considering supplies.”
“The percentage of downed ‘Shaheds’ by our warriors is consistently above 90 – it’s 90-93%. Regarding cruise missiles and ballistic missiles: we are working with all partners to get new contributions to the PURL program, we are looking for other ways to obtain missiles,” the president added.
Recall that on May 25, the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the aggressor country, Maria Zakharova, threatened that the Russian Federation would **strike Kyiv again**. In addition, the Russian Foreign Ministry threatened that **foreigners should leave the Ukrainian capital as soon as possible.**
