The head of the Polish MFA believes that the master of the Kremlin should soberly assess the possibilities and prospects of continuing combat operations.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland, Radosław Sikorski, urged Russian President Vladimir Putin to stop the war against Ukraine, emphasizing that further prolonging the conflict only deepens the losses for the Russian economy and army.
This was stated by the head of Polish diplomacy in an interview with CBS News.
According to Sikorski, the master of the Kremlin should soberly assess the possibilities and prospects of continuing combat operations.
“He should think: can I endure such colossal losses for the Russian economy and, obviously, for the Russian army for another two years? In his place, I would have stopped already,” stated the head of the Polish MFA.
Sikorski also made a strong statement regarding the behavior of authoritarian leaders, noting that they often try to negotiate only when the situation becomes critical.
“The trouble with dictators is that they always try to negotiate after everything has happened, when it’s too late,” emphasized the Polish diplomat.
The minister expressed conviction that the realization of the scale of economic and military losses could force the Kremlin to reconsider its position and accelerate the end of the war that Russia is waging against Ukraine.
