The Head of the Ministry of Defence, Mykhailo Fedorov, sharply responded to rumors about ratings and political ambitions.

The Minister of Defence of Ukraine, Mykhailo Fedorov, reacted sharply to backroom discussions about his political ambitions and alleged independent maneuvering within the government. He stated that his sole objective today is to stop the enemy, and he exclusively associates his future with the team of Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The Head of the Ministry of Defence shared this exclusively with TSN as part of the “United News” telethon.
“I came with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s team, and for all these years, I served as Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation. We implemented numerous reforms, and together with him, we became the most digital country in the world, achieving the fastest progress, ‘Diia,’ … ‘Starlinks’ appeared in Ukraine, the best tax reform in Europe. And we did all of this together and under his (Zelenskyy’s – Ed.) political leadership,” Fedorov recalled.
He emphasized that he also joined the Ministry of Defence at the invitation of the President, as the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. Fedorov explained that Zelenskyy is the leader of his team, “who brought us here, with whom we work.”
“And I have only one ambition at this moment – to stop the Russians, to do everything to end the war, and then to continue working within the President’s team, wherever we may be, in whatever role, in whatever format. Therefore, I would like to tell everyone who raises these topics, politics, ratings, who is running and who is not, clearly: leave this topic alone. We are working with the President in his team, and I see my future alongside my team,” the minister concluded.
Previously, Fedorov announced the dismissal of military personnel who have served since 2022 and specified the conditions. He also discussed whether he has a conflict with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Syrskyi.
