Ukrainian singer Anastasia Prikhodko has once again found herself in a scandal, this time due to her rather harsh statements about the national anthem of Ukraine.
The artist published a controversial post on the social network Threads. The performer shared her thoughts on the Ukrainian anthem, specifically regarding its playing at nine in the morning. Anastasia Prikhodko stated that it frightens her. She explained that when she wakes up to the sounds of the anthem, she immediately thinks that “something bad has happened” and “it’s the end for us.”
“Please tell me, I just can’t get used to the fact that the State Anthem of Ukraine is played loudly at 9 am; through sleep, it sounds like ‘it’s the end for us’! Honestly, every time I wake up with fear… As if, what happened…”, the artist stated.
