Poland has declassified the scope of its military aid to Ukraine and confirmed the transfer of missiles for Patriot systems.

Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion, Poland has provided Ukraine with military assistance totaling over 16.5 billion zlotys.
This was announced by the Polish Minister of Defense, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, as reported by Polsat news and RMF24.
Details on the Amount of Aid Provided by Poland to Ukraine
According to the head of the defense department, the decision to initiate the declassification of data concerning the transfer of military equipment to Ukraine was made following his conversation with Prime Minister Donald Tusk.
“Regarding equipment and ammunition in 2022-2023, various types of military hardware were transferred,” stated Kosiniak-Kamysz.
He specified that during the 2022-2023 period, the previous Polish government directed approximately 15 billion zlotys worth of armaments to Kyiv, which is roughly equivalent to 3.4 billion euros.
Concurrently, the current Polish government, which assumed office in late December 2023, has allocated 1.55 billion zlotys in military support during its tenure, amounting to approximately 350 million euros. Among the assets Warsaw has provided to the Ukrainian side since 2024, the Minister of Defense officially named, for the first time, PAC-3 missiles for the Patriot air defense systems, among others.
Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz emphasized that continued military and material assistance to Ukraine remains a strategic objective for Poland.

It is worth recalling that recently, discussions arose in Poland regarding the possibility that missiles for Patriot systems might have been secretly transferred to Ukraine. This was stated by the Deputy Speaker of the Polish Sejm, Krzysztof Bosak, who described it as a serious breach, as these missiles are needed by Poland itself for its own air defense.
Subsequently, the Polish Ministry of Defense agreed to declassify information regarding all military aid to Ukraine after it became known that the government might have secretly transferred Patriot missiles to Kyiv without parliamentary knowledge. However, President Karol Nawrocki opposed the public release of this data.
Furthermore, Donald Tusk urged Polish politicians to cease disputes over aid to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
