Deficit in Donetsk forces drivers to travel abroad for fuel, to the Russian Federation.

An occupied Donetsk has been engulfed by a fuel crisis: long queues have formed at gas stations due to shortages. The situation is exacerbated by nightly thefts of gasoline directly from car fuel tanks.
This was reported by Russian Telegram channels.
Currently, only two gas stations are operating in Donetsk, with huge queues of vehicles forming around them. Local residents in videos say they have to drive abroad, to Russia, to get fuel.
Against the backdrop of the gasoline shortage, fuel theft incidents have become more frequent: at night, it is drained directly from car fuel tanks.
The perpetrators were discovered near a local school – they were caught on surveillance cameras. It is unknown how many cars have already suffered from such thefts, but discussions are spreading among residents of the district that it is time to install locks on fuel tank caps.
Recall, at the end of May, it became known that the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine maintains fire control over the invaders’ land corridor between Crimea and Donetsk, particularly sections of the highways between Berdyansk, Melitopol, and Dzhankoi. Using drones, intelligence officers systematically destroy the enemy’s fuel trucks and logistical equipment. Russian “Z-channels” called the situation critical, admitting that prolonged attacks along this route seriously complicate the provision of occupying forces in southern Ukraine.
On June 6, it was reported that special forces of the 3rd Special Operations Forces Regiment took permanent aerial control of the Melitopol-Chongar logistics route leading to Crimea. Using strike and reconnaissance drones, operators methodically destroy enemy military equipment and fuel. This significantly complicates the provision of Russian units on the peninsula and demonstrates strategic work to destroy occupying logistics.
