Ukrainian high jumper Oleh Doroshchuk, who won “gold” at the World Indoor Championships this March, emerged victorious at the Diamond League stage in Monaco.
The 25-year-old Ukrainian triumphed with a jump of 2.32 meters. The silver medal went to Britain’s Kimani Jack (2.30 m), and the “bronze” was claimed by India’s Anil Kushare (2.26 m).
This marks Doroshchuk’s second career victory at a Diamond League event. Oleh’s first triumph was at the Brussels stage last year, where he finished with a result of 2.25 m.
Concurrently, the Ukrainian extended his podium streak, which began in 2024, to nine consecutive starts – he has yet to finish outside the top three. In addition to two gold medals, the Ukrainian boasts a silver and four bronze medals at the competition stages, along with two silvers in the Diamond League finals.
