The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine responded ironically to the latest statements by Russian dictator Volodymyr Putin about the war against Ukraine.

Putin stated that Russia allegedly sees Ukrainian troops “losing positions on the front line,” and that’s why Ukraine supposedly “resorts to terrorism within Russia.”

The spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Heorhii Tykhiy, responded to this. He ridiculed the Kremlin’s rhetoric and reminded that Russia has been waging an aggressive war against Ukraine for over four years, yet has failed to achieve its goals.

“POV: you’re talking like you’re going to win the war – for the fifth year in a row,” Tykhiy wrote.

According to the MFA spokesperson, the Russian Federation has lost 1.3 million soldiers in over four years of war, its slow advance has stalled, and the war itself is increasingly returning to Russian territory.

“Reality: you started an aggressive war trying to win quickly; you haven’t achieved any goals, losing 1.3 million men over 4+ years; your slow advance has stalled; the war is returning to your territory,” Tykhiy noted.

Recall that Russian dictator Volodymyr Putin, at the congress of “United Russia,” once again repeated claims about alleged control of the situation on the front and “strategic objectives being realized.” According to him, the situation for the Russian Federation supposedly remains “under control,” and the West cannot defeat Russia on the battlefield.
