75-year-old Princess Anne appeared at the wedding of her son, 48-year-old Peter Phillips, and Harriet Sperling on June 6 at All Saints’ Church in Kemble, wearing a hat that is already 45 years old.

The princess wore a yellow ensemble, one element of which was a hat of the same color, which she wore to another solemn event in 1981, namely to the christening ceremony of her daughter Zara Phillips, writes People.
In both cases, Princess Anne wore the hat with yellow outfits. In 1981, she paired it with a short-sleeved yellow dress, and at her son’s wedding on Saturday, she repeated the same color scheme, adding dark blue gloves, a handbag, and an umbrella due to the rainy weather.

Anne regularly tops the lists of the hardest-working members of the British royal family in terms of the number of official events, and it seems she applies the same philosophy to her wardrobe.
The princess has repeatedly worn items released many years ago, thereby demonstrating her commitment to the principles of eco-fashion and possibly inspiring younger members of the family to do the same.
