This weekend, warm summer weather will prevail across Ukraine, with temperatures reaching up to +29 degrees Celsius. However, many regions will experience rain and thunderstorms. Forecasters predict the highest amount of precipitation in the western and northern regions, while the east and south are expected to remain predominantly dry.

According to meteorologist Natalka Didenko, the weekend of June 6–7 will be warm in Ukraine.
Daytime air temperatures are expected to range from +22 to +27 degrees Celsius.
“It will be cooler in the western half, and higher temperatures in the southern half. Short-term showers, with thunderstorms in some places, are most likely in the western, northern regions, and in Vinnytsia Oblast. The rest of the territory will experience little to no significant precipitation, or just a few drops,” she reports.
In Kyiv, June 6 is expected to reach up to +26 degrees Celsius. On Sunday, June 7, it will be slightly cooler, up to +23 degrees, with probable short-term showers.
Natalia Ptukha, a meteorologist from the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, told NV that on Saturday and Sunday, most of Ukraine—the north, center, and south—will experience light rains with thunderstorms. Daytime temperatures in these regions are expected to be between +20 and +26 degrees Celsius, while in the south and southeast, the temperature will climb up to +29 degrees Celsius.
According to her, it will be noticeably cooler in the western regions, with thermometers showing only +18 to +23 degrees Celsius. At the same time, the meteorologist notes that the summer warmth will persist into the next week, with temperatures reaching up to +30 degrees in the southern parts of the country.
According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, Saturday, June 6, will be cloudy with clear spells across the country. Moderate to heavy rainfall and thunderstorms are expected in the western regions, and during the day in Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Vinnytsia, and Chernivtsi Oblasts.
No precipitation is expected in the rest of Ukraine. Fog is possible in Zakarpattia and Prykarpattia at night and in the morning.
The wind will be variable in direction, blowing at speeds of 3–8 m/s. Nighttime temperatures will range from +14 to +19 degrees Celsius, while daytime temperatures will reach +24 to +29 degrees. It will be slightly cooler in the western regions, with temperatures expected to be between +20 and +25 degrees Celsius.

Weather in Kyiv
In Kyiv Oblast on June 6, it will be cloudy with clear spells. The night will be without precipitation, but moderate to heavy showers with thunderstorms are likely during the day.
The wind will be variable in direction, blowing at speeds of 3–8 m/s. Air temperatures in the oblast will range from +14 to +19 degrees Celsius at night, and from +24 to +29 degrees during the day.
In the capital, on June 6, temperatures are expected to be between +17 and +19 degrees Celsius at night, and will warm up to +26 to +28 degrees Celsius during the day.
Weather in Lviv
On Saturday, June 6, the weather in Lviv Oblast will be influenced by atmospheric fronts from the west.
Overall, the oblast is expected to have cloudy weather with clear spells. Short-term showers with thunderstorms are expected in some areas, with possible hail during the day, prompting a first-level (yellow) warning of danger.

Visibility will be reduced to 500–1000 meters due to light fog at night and in the morning. The wind will be northwesterly, blowing at speeds of 5–10 m/s. Air temperatures at night will range from +11 to +16 degrees Celsius, and will rise to +18 to +23 degrees during the day.
In Lviv itself, it will also be cloudy with clear spells, but the main precipitation is expected at night—short-term rain with thunderstorms is anticipated. It will be dry in the city during the day. Light fog is also expected during the night and morning.
Thermometers will show +13 to +15 degrees Celsius at night, and the air will warm up to +20 to +22 degrees during the day.
Weather in Odesa
In Odesa Oblast and the city of Odesa on June 6, it will be cloudy with clear spells. Short-term showers, with thunderstorms in some places, are expected during the day.
Fog will persist in some areas in the morning, with visibility ranging from 200–500 meters. The wind will blow from the south at speeds of 3–8 m/s.
Air temperatures in the oblast will range from +12 to +17 degrees Celsius at night, and are expected to be between +23 and +28 degrees Celsius during the day.
In Odesa, air temperatures will range from +15 to +17 degrees Celsius at night, and are expected to be between +23 and +25 degrees Celsius during the day.
